I've been slacking
More specifically, I've been way too busy for the number of adventures I'd like to go on.
So, this year, my resolution is to have more adventures and to actually document them, for you to read and for myself to look back on later.
As some of you already know, I've got a bit of a broken body. Between my back, hip and shoulder injuries, plus Hashimoto's disease often giving me inflammation issues, I would consider myself a less-abled adventurer. Hence, I will be bringing you some content for beginner adventurers, or people who aren't super able/fit/adventurous but still want to be out there in nature enjoying all of the awesomeness.
My first adventure for 2025 will be a trip to Newstead/Castlemaine in search of Rainbow Bee Eaters and having a go at Dog Rocks Loop for an easy hike. We may or may not stay over at Newstead Racecourse, which is a very excellent place to camp. Either way, I'll give you all the details of that awesome, lesser known, very affordable and facility-rich campsite.
Stay tuned, early January.
